The exact level of salary that you will achieve, once you have become qualified as an LPN will be dependent upon your location, the type of work you will be doing, how you will be paid (meaning that you may be paid hourly or you may receive a salary or you may do shift work at unsocial times) and of course the amount of experience you are able to bring to the role.
As an indicator of LPN salary however you should be able to use the following information as a baseline, starting point. For a newly qualified LPN you can expect to receive somewhere between $33,000 and $40,000 per annum. For an experienced LPN you should have expectations of receiving a minimum of $40,000 per annum.
The LPN salary is one of the factors that attracts many people to the profession. There is also a general expectation that demand for the services of the LPN will continue to increase for the foreseeable future and therefore job prospects are generally perceived to be good. Couple this with good prospects for on the job and extra curricular training and you have, in the LPN role, very good reasons for selecting it as a career option.
